Job title: Assistant Officer – ICT Infrastructure

The Opportunity
This position will be primarily responsible for providing support to install, monitor, maintain and optimize the ICT network and infrastructure setup in both country office and field offices for all the users in different departments, sectors and programs. H/she will assist in maintaining local area network (LAN), provide PABX/IPPBX related support, ensure Internet Security and network security in LAN, WAN and WiFi and ensure all devices connected to SCIBd network. The role holder will also responsible for software installation & configuration in user’s computers/ laptops/mobile devices, troubleshooting of ICT systems and its equipment and ensure maintenance of hardware and software.
Qualifications and experience
- Preferably 2 years’ experience in IT support, troubleshooting, networking
- Proven knowledge in hardware, software, networking (LAN/WAN), MFA (Multi Factor Authentication), WiFi systems
- Capable to solve any software and hardware problem
- Ability to maintain inventory management of network and infrastructure of SCI BD including FO) i.e. Physical server, VMWare server, VMWare machines, Switch, Wifi device, Firewall, Router, IP allocation, DMZ port, User mail address and maintain distribution list
- Maintaining a good and professional behave
- Hard working capability
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills
- Preferably Bachelor Degree, preferably in Computer Science & Engineering or relevant discipline.
