Quasem Industries Limited (makers of SUNLITE battery and WAVE consumer products) and Quasem Food Products Limited (maker of SUN products, notably SUN Chips) are both independently looking for marketing managers to be in-charge of brand promotion and advertising activities

Job Responsibilities

  • Two positions are available. One candidate will be in-charge sales promotion and advertising for products made by Quasem Industries Limited (SUNLITE batteries, SUNLITE lighters, Wave Air fresheners, WAVE body sprays, etc.) and the other will have the same responsibilities for all products made by Quasem Foods Limited (SUN Chips, SUN Papor, SUN Ghee, etc.
  • The Candidates will work directly with an inhouse brand strategy consultant, the director of marketing, and the rest of the marketing team to plan marketing activities for his/her brands and products.
  • Once brand/product strategies are clear, the candidate will be responsible for executing the strategy, working independently as well as with our social media executive, in-house graphic designer, in-house sales team, production teams, and external advertising agencies.
  • As the project manager for brand activities, they will additionally be required to report on branding activities, event, activation etc.
  • Expectations include taking ownership of all assets for ATL and BTL activities, including print and electronic materials such as – social media collateral, brochures, banner, leaflets, posters, E-newsletters, DVD’s, newspaper advertisements, tv advertisements, billboards and other branding and promotional materials.
  • Candidates must maintain good personal hygiene and have a smart appearance.
  • Candidate must be able to work independently without much supervision.
  • Candidate must be able to handle a team of people under their direction and keep them motivated and develop their skills.
  • Candidates must have some experience graphic designing and/or social media marketing.
  • Candidates MUST be fluent in both written and spoken English and Bengali. Candidates must be confident, assured and well-spoken.
  • Perform any other jobs as required by the management.

  • Candidates must have obtained MBA or Master’s degree in Marketing from a reputable university.
  • Skills Required: Computer Operator

  • 5 to 9 year(s)

Additional Requirements

  • Age 28 to 40 years
  • All candidates must have AT LEAST 3 years of experience working in sales promotion or advertising of a reputed company.
  • Candidates with no experience working in BRAND PROMOTION should NOT apply for this position. Candidates with experience in Sales and Distribution will NOT be considered for this post.
  • Candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience working with the marketing and brand promotion related activities of a reputed company.
  • Candidates who have worked in the Marketing Department of FMCG companies will be given preference.
  • Candidates over the age of 40 will not be considered for this post except in exceptional circumstances.
  • Strong command in English (reading, writing, speaking).
  • Friendly personality – approachable, outgoing, assertive
  • Creative minded individuals are preferred for this post.
  • Good organizational skills: ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Flexible and resourceful at problem-solving
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS., Excel, Internet browsing, E-mail).
