  • Begum Gul Chemonara (BGC) Trust located at 34 km away from Chattogram City in a place popularly known as BGC Bidyanagar, Chandanaish, Chattogram, invites application for the position of Deputy General Manager (Finance & Accounts) for immediate appointment.
  • Job Location: BGC Bidyanagar, Chandanaish, Chattogram

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall financial management to achieve the company’s short and long-term financial goals.
  • Must have excellent liaison and network with banks and financial institutions
  • Prepare feasibility reports and business proposals for submission to banks and financial institutions for new projects of the company
  • Engage in the activities related to the Finance Department such as budgeting and forecasting, cost management, CapEx management, cashflow management, cost and profit analysis, etc.
  • Oversee the Accounts Department.
  • Maintain professional liaise with banks and other financing institutions.
  • Maintain professional liaise with any relevant Government bodies, authorities and/or organizations.
  • Liaise with the TAX department and advise on TAX and VAT planning.
  • Devise the correct formula, methods and format for costing of products and services.

Educational Requirements

  • M.Com/MBA in Accounts/Finance/ Foreign University with FCA / FCMA /CPA/ ACCA
  • Part qualified CA / CMA with adequate relevant experience may also apply.

  • Age 36 to 50 years
  • Both males and females are allowed to apply
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • Accounts, Budgeting, Corporate Finance, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
  • Group of Companies, Educational Institutions, Hospitals
  • Excellent management leadership skills as well as facilitation and capacity building for inter-linkages between Senior Officials, Management / BOD, etc.
  • Conceptual, analytical, documentation and presentation skills
  • In-depth understanding of operational issues and policy work at state, national and international levels
  • Sound and up-to-date knowledge of development concepts, methodologies and techniques including demonstrated expertise
  • Proficiency in English language and acquainted with diverse work environment.
