Job title: Finance Specialist-AHP

Job description: The Finance Specialist-Rohingya Influx Response project will be responsible for financial management, budget and reporting, financial monitoring, ensure timely payment to the partners, monitoring purchase and staff advances, providing budget clearance for project expenditure. He/she also responsible for reviewing fund request from partner NGOs; validate PNGO liquidation statements, transaction voucher and books of accounts as part of the financial monitoring; take part in capacity building initiatives for the partner NGO staff members. Support programme and Log & Admin team in budget preparation.
The role & Scope
- The post holder will work with FM-ER to support for keep tracking the response master budget;
- The post holder will ensure to collect required funding requests are aligned with the master budget;
- The post holder will assist to the FM-ER for preparing project proposal and funding plan/ budget;
- Treasury functions
- Budget & Reporting
- Partnership Management
- Conduct Audit
- Management of Financial Software- SAP
What we’re looking for
We are looking for a Bangladeshi Nation who is competent and committed professional holding At least Masters in business administration, finance or accounting with CA (CC) and 3 years humanitarian experience- specific to the similar role in large-scale emergency response in National and/or International Organizations. Prior experience of working in greater Chittagong Division is a plus, preferably in international development organization as well as good understanding & knowledge about Humanitarian architecture of the Rohingya Response its operating and regulatory environment. Required to have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in English & Bangla. Understanding and speaking local language of Cox’s Bazar or Chittagong is an advantage.
