- Soorty Textiles (BD) Ltd is a high quality Denim Garments manufacture in Comilla – EPZ. It is vertical setup of denim garment manufacturing company with Embroidery, Printing Laundry & ETP. We are certified for GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard)/OCS (Organic Content Standard)/LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)/BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative)/SMETA (SEDEX Members Ethical Trade Audit).
- Location: Comilla Export Processing Zone
- Reporting Authority: COO
- Work Hours : 8-hour work shift, 8:00 am-5:00 pm and as per company policy
- Saturday to Thursdays
- Minimal amount of being “on-call”
Job Responsibilities
- Overall responsible to supervise the R&D.
- Prepare schedule and plan the daily work for the R&D and delegate the work depending on the workload and priority requirements.
- Minimizing production costs and maintaining current quality standards from the development stage.
- Analyze & root cause when a quality issue heads up.
- Responsible to develop all kinds denim washes such as random/acid wash, towel wash, enzyme, Stone-Enzyme, bleach wash, tie-dye, dip-dye, resin wash etc. and over dyeing.
- Need to handle Sustainable developments with E- flow, Up, Core system, Ozone & Laser.
- Need to do continual sustainable progress like water & chemical savings, understating the new inaugurated sustainable chemicals & applying.
- Need to correspond and coordinate with merchandising/marketing team.
- Any other job assigned by the HOD as and when required.

- Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile engineering, Masters degree in any discipline, Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Textile engineering, Masters degree in any discipline

Additional Requirements
- Age 25 to 40 years
- Only males are allowed to apply
- Must have proven experience in R&D Department
- Practical working experiences on the developments for both American & European brands
- Must have knowledge on EIM, Costing, Wet process & dry process
- Organizing & Managing ability with problem solving & analytical skills.
- Strong communication abilities, in Bengali and English, both oral and written
- Strong mentality to work under pressure
