- Corporate Profile in Brief: The management of Desh Garments Limited is looking for a Qualified Experienced and highly skilled person who should drive Factory Industrial Engineering areas/issues, to be recruited as Head, IE for Chittagong Factory.
- Oversee IE Management.
Job Responsibilities
- Expertise of the industrial engineering activities.
- Balance line in ensure optimum work force.
- Coordinate quality control objectives & achieve targets.
- Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards & cost analysis system.
- Clear knowledge about all types of Apparels.
- Ensure layout the machine by maintaining proper sequence of operation to ensure best workflow.
- Check all the SMV’s for costing before handing over to the merchandisers.
- Oversee the production & take required action for achievement.
- Proficient with planning & IE for productivity improvement.
- Responsible for grading new & existing operator, analyzing workers and their performance.
- Prepared garments cost based on CPM.
- Practical knowledge about GSD analysis.

Educational Requirements
- B.Sc/ M.Sc in Textile Engineering/ IPE from any reputed University/Institutions.
- Shahjalal University of Science & Technology students will get preference
- Skills Required: Industrial Engineering in Woven Garments Production

- At least 7 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Industrial & Production Engineering, Lean Management, LEAN Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, Work Study * The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Additional Requirements
- Age at least 35 years
- Good technical & organizational skill required.
- Should have experience in the production, Inspection, floor, Line management, production management (cutting + sewing + finishing)
- Should have experience woven garments.
- Proficient in both written & spoken English.
- Team player with strong interpersonal & leadership ability & good communication skill.
- Proficient in MS office suit specially in Excel, Internet & Email.
