- Job Purpose: The position will be senior national staff based in Dhaka and is responsible for providing technical leadership and oversee the conceptualization, design, and implementation of capacity building initiatives to the above mentioned health programme, including but not limited to designing and delivering training curricula; overseeing follow up; and monitoring impact of activities. S/he will be responsible identifying the training needs, preparing training modules, providing ToT, training and coordinate activities for the development of institutional and managerial capacities of consortium partner`s staffs, communities, institutions, government institutions including MOFFW, MOLGRD and LGI`s and other relevant stakeholders who are engaged in the delivery of programme. S/he will ensure the capacity building process are well documented and disseminated among relevant stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
- Development of training and capacity building plan for the NGO Health programme staff, government health department and municipality health department staff
- Design and develop, MNCH services strengthening strategies, with an aim to build the capacity of consortia partners, Govt. institutions in delivering high quality MNCH services as well as in establishing human capacity building and training systems that are competency-based and meet the needs of the health care system under the EHD project.
- Review, design and develop evidence-based clinical training curriculum for training manuals and materials, performance standards, and supervisory systems needed for programme implementation
- Provide strategic and technical guidance to consortium team members to ensure effective planning and implementation the health programme through capacity building process
- Provide support to partners and Concern team in implementation of programme activities through capacity building
- Ensure enough budget for capacity building process and prepare yearly and quarterly budget, regularly monitoring the capacity building issue and review as and when require Develop technical guideline for capacity building initiative for successful implementation of the programme
- Use knowledge of best practices in MNCH to build the capacity of the MoHFW, MoLGRDC and LGIs, community clinics, primary health care delivery actors, and partner staffs to ensure project activities are in line with plan as per the guidelines
- Provide refresher training and mentoring to overcome any challenges the project may face during the implementation when necessary
- Manage roster of trainers, trainees and system for nomination officers for various state and national training programmes
- Ensuring integration across technical areas and with cross cutting approaches such as gender, equity and rights based approaches to health
- Document best practices and share lesson learned with national and international stakeholders
- As a member of the programme technical team, proactively provide high quality and effective support and resourcing services to staff
- Enabling a friendly collaborative working culture within the team, actively sharing information and knowledge to enable the team to ensure effective support to the rest of the organisation
- Promote and ensure compliance with the requirements of Concern’s HR policies, Concern’s Code of Conduct and its associated policies and Core Humanitarians Standards of Accountability to ensure maximum protection to programme beneficiaries

Educational Requirements
- Master of Public health with medical degree preferred
Experience Requirements
- At least 8 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- At least 08 years of experience in the health sector (preferably in Health);
- At least 05 years’ experience on providing training and capacity building support to Government and NGO health workers and with experience of manual, module and training course development
- Experience of working in health system strengthening and capacity building project in partnership with NGOs and government departments, local government institution.
- Proven experience of working with high level stakeholders including government ministries and donors
- Proven experience of capacity building issue with very high level policy stakeholders
- Experience of working in MNCH and health project
- Basic budgetary skills and able to work within limited resources is preferred
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Demonstrable ability to communicate at a high level, both verbally and in writing, and capacity to effectively interact with a multiplicity of stakeholders including senior leaders;
- Extensive travel within the state, districts and cities would be required

- Gross Salary range Monthly Gross BDT 152,400/- to BDT 164,835/-
