Manager/ Assistant Manager – Export Documentation

Job Context

• A Renowned Shipping & Logistics Company is looking for the post of Manager/Assistant Manager – Export Documentation to lead and coach a winning, effective and sustainable Export Documentation and Customer Service Team as well the Company.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and Advise depot with stuffing program after receiving booking confirmation mail form sales team.
• Monitor and Provide Empty removal list to the depot for stuffing purpose if empty required empty container not available at depot, Book space on feeder vessel in accordance with principal nomination for both laden & empty, Export load list prepare as per shipping bill & stuffing report.
• Monitor and Empty container List preparation as per main stock, D/O issue report & empty container report.
• Supervise the EPZ stuffing & arrange trailer for factory stuffing, EPZ/Factory stuffing report prepare & send to Dhaka office, CTMS prepare separately both Laden & Empty container & send to respective feeder operator, Advise depot with dispatch program with vessel name & position, Constantly keep in touch with depot & vessel supervisor for smooth loading and Arrange special permission if required by shipper.
• Monitor and Export TDR preparation & send to POD with CC to TS port, System update for both laden & empty units, Shipping order issue with concern of shipper/exporter, Export BL draft & VGM certificate collection from Shipper for preparing MBL.
• Monitor and Prepare BL, Freight Manifest & Cargo manifest in the system, MBL draft copy send to shipper for checking & confirmation.
• Monitor and Collect SLOT message from feeder operator once vessel sailed & check all the units on boarded consequently, MF Closing after BL confirmation from shipper.
• Monthly export lifting preparation and other performance report as required by Management.
• Keep in touch with Dhaka office & provide & collect any export related information.
• Maintain SOP, keep study on SOP & discuss its contents with team members.
• Monitor and Maintain Export Register.
• Monitor EGM preparation & submission to the authority within 10 days of vessel sailing, Shipping bill submission to port gate within 2 weeks of vessel sailing, Keep records of all loading list & shipping bills.
• BL release to the shipper, BL surrender in system & send a surrender copy to the shipper & POD.
• Ensure Checking all related charges & documents before BL release & surrender.

• Bachelor or Master’s degree holder.

Experience Requirements

• At least 2 year(s)

Additional Requirements

• Minimum 02 (Two) year(s) in similar Job Area.
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
• Shipping Agency, Freight Forwarding, Logistics
• You must have excellent IT skills and be familiar with industry standard software together with good Microsoft Office skills.
• Self-driven, results-oriented with a proven track record in respective job scope and ability to work under pressure.
• An inspirational leader with excellent coaching and people skills.
• Fluent communication skills in written and spoken English and Bengali
