Full Job Description

A leading manufacturing company located in Las Vegas, Nevada is currently seeking a highly experienced individual in the field of manufacturing and plant management, to serve as the Director of Manufacturing for the company.


The position will be responsible for managing the company’s manufacturing and distribution facilities. Responsibilities include coordination of all manufacturing operations, machine floor management, and inventory controls. We need a hands-on technically experienced individual, with strong organizational and leadership skills and an extensive background in plant management.


– Develops the manufacturing plan and establishes procedures for maintaining high standards of manufacturing operations to ensure that products conform to established customer and company quality standards.

– Manages all production, assembly, distribution, and inventory control activities on a day to day basis.

– Directs and monitors staff to accomplish goals of the manufacturing plan, consistent with established manufacturing and safety procedures. Acts as liaison between staff and executive level management to inform personnel of communications, decisions, policies, and all matters that affect their performance, attitudes, and results.

– Identifies, recommends, and implements changes to improve productivity and reduce cost. Directs the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of production standards.

– Hires, trains, develops, and evaluates staff. Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company policy. Ensures compliance with current federal, state, and local regulations. Consults with Human Resources Department as appropriate.

– Performs and manages all work within department in accordance with ISO and industry standards.

– Identifies and manages any facility maintenance issues. Guides maintenance to ensure timely repair.

– Other duties as assigned.


– Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field

– 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

– 10 years of upper management experience

– Excellent organization and communication skills, verbal and written

– Proven ability to establish and motivate a cohesive team

– Strong analytical, problem solving, and process management skills

– Must pass a background and drug screening

– Expert in establishing / implementing ISO standards
