- Resource Integration Centre (RIC) is a national NGO since 1981 in Bangladesh. RIC is implementing General Food Assistance (GFA) program funded by World Food Program (WFP) in Rohingya Camps in Ukhiya Upzila under Cox’s Bazar District. RIC is seeking application from the potential candidate on the below position:

- Working Area: Outlets established in different Rohingya Camps in Ukhiya
Job Responsibilities
- OVERALL, ROLE OF THIS POSITION:
- This is the key position in terms of the project management, planning who will ensure the smooth implementation of the project as per the agreement. Maintaining coordination with the sectoral agency, donor agency, organizational central management, creating a friendly and safe working environment for the staff members are the key purposes of this project. Taking any relevant new initiatives will be considered as added advantages.
- The position is responsible to manage GFA related project activates based in Cox’s Bazar. S/he will be required to travel regularly to field sites in Rohingya Camps in Ukhiya and some overnight stays in locations other than the base location (Ukhiya program office) may be required. Occasional work at weekends may be required.
- The Project Manager will be responsible for implementation of GFA components of the project in accordance with the guidance of Project Focal, including staff supervision in field offices directly under the grants. In addition, it is expected that the Project Manager will ensure that all grants for which s/he is focal point are implemented in a manner that ensures the highest accountability standards for internal (partners, client/beneficiaries, implementing organization) and external (donors, local stakeholders) stakeholders. The role of the Project Manager will also involve coordination, oversight and coaching of the project team in technical and programmatic aspects of the implementation activity, with the support of the other staffs. The Project Manager will ensure that all work plans are prepared and implemented according to schedule.
- This is the key position of the project who will ensure the smooth implementation of the project through developing planning & management in order to achieve the goal of the program as per the agreement. S/he should be confident to maintain coordination with the sectoral agency, donor agency, organizational central management and create friendly, safe & secured working environment for the staff members of this project. Taking any relevant new initiatives & developing tools & techniques will be considered as added advantages.
- KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTIBILITIES:
- Plan and ensure timely Implementation of the project activity and produce structured work plan for each intervention maintaining close collaboration with Project Focal and other relevant staff of the project.
- Collaborate with project team to define the scope and objectives of the GFA response for each intervention.
- Oversee the implementation of the protection responses and ensure that stated goals and objectives are met.
- Supervise, mentor and provide capacity building training to the project team.
- Ensure compliance with the implementing organization and donor policy, procedures and practices.
- Supervise the preparation of logistics and financial requirements prior to interventions.
- Prepare and oversee the budget expenditure and procurement for the interventions, in close collaboration with the logistics and finance department.
- Ensure organizational representation in cluster, partner, and donor meetings relevant to the GFA and project’s requirement.
- Monitor and provide objective feedback related to staff performance, including completing staff performance evaluations to promote growth and professional development.
- Review of regular financial and narrative reports from project team, ensuring financial compliance including budget management and correct accountability documentation.
- Conduct analyses and evaluations of humanitarian needs in the project area, risk analyses and elaboration of contingency plans together.
- Ensure linkages with the GFA other components of the project internally.
- Ensure all internal and external narrative reports are of good quality and completed on time, promoting good understanding about projects with donors, other sectors, partners, and communities.
- Manage project budget to ensure adherence to the organization and donor financial procedures and requirements.
- Support project teams in utilizing financial planning tools, such as spending plans, procurement plans, and work plans based on project proposals.
- Develop community engagement methodologies and tools, participatory design of relevant IEC/BCC materials.
- Review weekly activity reports, quarterly, monthly and final reports
- Uphold humanitarian code of conduct and adhere to and promote humanitarian guiding principles

- Minimum Masters /Bachelor Degree, Educational qualification may be relaxing for highly experienced candidate

Additional Requirements
- Age at most 40 years
- Both males and females are allowed to apply
- Minimum 8-10 years working experience at development program NGO/INGO in the field of Humanitarian emergency response program.
- 8-10 years working experience at NGO/INGO in the field of Humanitarian emergency response program
- Fair knowledge on Rohingya Refugee context including GFA intervention in emergency/humanitarian situation including project management, develop and execute strategic plans, act as a local representative, point of contact for different level of stakeholder and donor
- Supervising, mentoring and provide capacity building support to the project staff, budgetary and internal control, progress tracking and coping with changing situation, ability to writing reports independently.
- Confident & good skill in operating computer/laptops with MS word, Excel, PowerPoints
- Sound knowledge on using different software (KOVO, SPSS, toolbox etc.), related to data entry, analysis, report writing and preparing presentation etc.
- Hard working, work under pressure in humanitarian response context, positive and can-do attitude.
- Deep knowledge of workforce development for marginalized and vulnerable populations.
- Organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Flexible, Self-motivated and able to work with supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams and multi-cultural environments
- Fluency in English, Bengali and Chittagong local languages is preferable
