- Job Location: EPZ, Chittagong
Job Responsibilities
- Plan product ranges and stock plans in conjunction with buyers.
- Make liaison with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers and distributors.
- Coordinate & communicate with other departments for various inter department activities.
- Maintain critical path regularly and have to good knowledge on products costing (specially woven products).
- Monitor activities from sampling, development to shipment stage.
- Forecast profits and sales using computer programs.
- Optimize the sales volume and profitability of designated product areas.
- Analyze every aspect of the best and worst sellers (for example, the best-selling price points, colors or styles)
- Gather information relating to the customer reaction to products.
- Responsible for accompanying buyers on visits to manufacturers to appreciate production processes.
- Meet with suppliers and manage the distribution of stock, possibly negotiating cost prices with suppliers.
- Identify production and supply difficulties and deal with them as and when they occur.
- Handle other responsibilities and projects, as assigned.
- Any other relate job(s) as assign by the management time to time.

- Minimum graduation from any reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- 5 to 6 year(s)

- Age 30 to 35 years
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Buying House/Manufacturing unit, Merchandising
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
- Good product knowledge and sourcing process skill is a requisite;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Factory orientation within the career time will be added advantage.
- Result oriented and self-driven with strong focus on deadlines.
