    NGO Wave Foundation (MRA Charter No.: 04908-00607-00023) 6 programs namely- 1) Poverty Alleviation and Livelihood Development 2) Community Finance and Entrepreneurship Development 3) Agri-Food System Transformation 4) Good Governance, Rights and Equity 5) Social Development and Youth Empowerment and 6) Climate Justice and Promotion of Renewable Energy are implementing various projects and activities at national and local levels. Applications are invited from eligible candidates who are interested in the following posts in Dhaka, Khulna, Rajshahi and Barisal Divisions for the implementation of Microcredit Program of the organization;

Job Responsibilities
  • Planning and implementing the activities of at least 5 branch offices under the area, monitoring the progress of the work and providing necessary cooperation and effective coordination with the branch, region, and head office to continue the work in a systematic manner.
  • Integrating integrated data into annual business plan preparation.
  • Monitoring progress as per plan and taking effective action.
  • To provide necessary assistance to the unit in the closing of annual accounts and beginning of the new year.
  • To provide recommendations for program expansion by selecting new areas through surveys.
  • Identifying new areas of investment and undertaking new work initiatives where necessary.
  • Monitor progress of the program, advise, follow up and ensure achievement of targets.
  • Prepared weekly main observation reports based on field work
  • Monitoring progress of unit indicators based on daily reports and taking follow up and action.
  • Preparation of all component monitoring and monitoring reports of all unit offices every 2 months.
  • Determining strategies and actions for upgrading new units including unprofitable units into profitable units.
  • Monitoring of the unit manager along with follow-up of the overall activities and providing necessary directions.
  • Work-area integration, improvement of association discipline, drop-out prevention, progressive membership growth and regular follow-up and supervision.
  • Identifying existing and potential risks and challenges at the field level of loan operations and determining and implementing mitigation strategies.
  • Effectively completing the monitoring activities under the program’s online monitoring system.
  • Appropriate monitoring and follow-up at staff/officer level, taking administrative action as per policy.
  • Determining strategies and taking necessary measures to prevent embezzlement.
  • Analyzing financial reports, auditing and monitoring compliance follow-up and taking administrative action where applicable.
  • Recommending revisions and revisions of unit level ongoing registers, forms, checklists, documentation updates.
  • In the light of field inspection, monitoring the progress and nature of work, determining and implementing strategies for the collection of all types of arrears, the reasons for default and what to do.
  • Achieving employee work targets, improving employee performance through coaching and mentoring by selecting weaker employees and recommending administrative measures for more weaker employees.
  • Organizing and participating in meetings and assisting in training.
  • Coordinating with the work of various departments/units centered on the head office.
  • Ensuring effective monitoring and follow-up of work at field level at least 15-20 days per month.
  • Coordinating with all stakeholders and developing relationships with local communities and administrations.
  • Preparing, verifying, sending and storing all types of reports.
  • Checking banking transactions and bank status on the ground.
  • Taking an active role in budget preparation, cost control, sound management of fixed assets.
  • To verify fund management at unit level and ensure efficient management.
