Job context

CSS is a voluntary organization for public welfare. Since 1972, it has been conducting various development activities in the remote areas of Bangladesh. Junior Nurse will be posted for Rev. Abdul Wadud Memorial Hospital, Tilak, Rupsa, Khulna of Health Sector of the organization.

Job Responsibilities

Appearing on duty on time and taking duty handover.
To work while on duty as per the instructions mentioned in the chart and during handover.
Go to the bedside of patients to know their advantages/disadvantages and take measures to help them.
Attending doctors round time and understand instructions to chart and act accordingly.
Monitor vital sign/intake output chart and notify physician as per problem.
Ensuring timely administration of food, medicine, injection, saline, blood etc. to the patient as per doctor’s instructions.
Ensuring that there is adequate and necessary supply of materials.
Ensuring supply of oxygen cylinders.
Ensuring that IV box dressing trolleys and emergency trolleys are always ready for use.
To record the information of patient admission, leave, death etc. in the register and assist the in-charge to provide monthly or required reports.
Keeping all equipment used in the ward operational and arranged.
Maintaining stock of medicines for ward patients and providing regular accounts.
Keep equipment sterile.
Dressing sutures of patients.
Helping nursing students learn ward work.
To perform duty in any unit, camp as directed by the management.

Educational qualification

Certificate in Junior Midwifery Course / General Nursing Training Course from a recognized institution should be certified.

Job Requirements

Maximum age is 35 years
Both men and women can apply
Preference will be given to those with experience working as a nurse in any hospital or nursing home.
Age will be relaxable for experienced candidates.
Candidate must be honest and hardworking.
