Job Responsibilities

• Phlebotomists are responsible for collecting and preparing samples that will undergo laboratory testing.
• Identify the patient before collection.
• Verifying test requirements by comparing information with invoices and prescriptions.
• Maintain sample integrity using an aseptic technique.
• Communicate and interact effectively with patients and other medical professionals.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Label samples accurately and legibly.
• Following all safety procedures to prevent the spread of infection.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Any other duties as assigned by management.
