Job Title: Production Manager
Reports to: GM
Employment Status: Exempt, Full-time

Primary Purpose:

Ensuring the safety and quality of the products we manufacture and distribute is the highest priority of Get Fresh Kitchen. The Company is committed to and accepts responsibility for, manufacturing, packaging, and distributing safe and wholesome RTE foods. Our goal is to ensure we provide the best quality products to our customers while working in fast paced environment. We have an opening for a Production manager to lead our processing room. This is a new position in a new facility.

The Company believes that achieving the best quality and food safety commitment is the responsibility of each Get Fresh Kitchen employee.

Essential Functions:

· Map out, drive and continuously improve the day-to-day operations in a hyper-growth environment, effectively engaging, motivating and directing the team to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of customer orders.

· Communicates performance standards to associates, recognizing and rewarding individual and team accomplishments and counseling performance problems.

· Partner with Data Analyst team to execute devised production plans and adjust sequencing based on business need when necessary.

· Ensure adherence to OSHA, GMP, SQF, food safety, and facility compliance while meeting operational goals and continuously improving production.

· Setting objectives and reviewing shift’s performance versus objectives.

· Providing a clear sense of direction for supervisors to work toward and encourage teamwork to achieve goals.

· Establishing challenging goals and standards for each supervisor and encourage them to give their best effort.

· Utilizes problem solving tools and methodologies to implement continually improve processes within the function.

· Conduct regular team meetings to share information and ensure two-way communication.

· English/Spanish Bilingual a plus

· SQF/BRC knowledge required.

· HACCP knowledge

· Capable of creating SOP’s that is viable for the work environment.

· Demonstrated ability to direct, coach, and train associates as well as plan, monitor and schedule work of up to 2 supervisors and 75 employees.

· USDA regulations, GMPs, sanitation procedures, & HACCP: 3 years (Required).

· Food Manufacturing: ready to eat FDA and USDA regulated products.

· Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems in a fast paced environment.

· Working knowledge of Excel and ability to learn ERP and WMS programs.

· Excellent language, math, and reasoning skills a must.

Job Hours:

· 2 days off per week

o Facility operates 7 days a week

· 10 hour shifts

· Shift starts at 4am

Pay: $60,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
