Job title: Quality Assurance Officer

Job description: Role Purpose:
To ensure quality of products and its related materials as per company’s specifications followed by monitoring of production process and GMP implementation.
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Follow the site HSE, Quality policy, site HSE and Quality protocols and Global guidelines to ensure site HSE and Quality culture in place.
- Report any incident, near miss, hazard, unsafe acts & observation to the concern department.
- Take personal ownership to achieve “Goal Zero” in HSE and Quality category.
- Ensure the quality of formulated and imported finished products/Active Ingredients/Auxiliaries/Packing Materials through analysis/testing as per company specifications.
- Keep all equipment’s in running and good condition including maintain internal calibration.
- Conduct analytical method validation with the help of Quality Assurance Manager.
- Conduct online toolbox awareness session for shop floor employees.
- In-process checking and ensure product change over as per SOP in compliance with RIRA guideline.
- Issuing work permit and giving safety briefing to workers before any risky job.
- Keeping of Reference samples, analytical records, and related documents.
- Maintain the stock of chemicals and related materials required for analysis.
- Create awareness on shop floor employee about health, hygiene, & housekeeping as if they maintain it proper & systematic way.
- Ensure regular discussion session on product hazards, risk symbols, precautionary measures and safety requirements during handling in the fill and pack process with the shop floor employees.
- Ensure SAP transaction and QM in time.
- Making PKI for packaging materials.
- NPI method development and process validation.
Knowledge, Skill & Experience
Critical Knowledge:
- Knowledge on QA/QC System and in-process control in line with QA policy and procedure.
Critical Skills:
- Computer literacy
- Analytical capability with an objective of solving problem
- Good interpersonal skills & communications
- Positive attitude to adapt and implement Management of Change (MOC) in work area
Critical Experience:
- 5 years analytical experience in a chemical Lab.

Qualifications
Chemistry/ Applied Chemistry and 3 to 5 yrs experience in lab work including quality assurance.
