Job Responsibilities
- Knowledge of integrated library systems, electronic resources and databases, and knowledge management techniques.
- Knowledge of modern library technology and their implications
- Internet Browsing skills
- Eagerness to do jobs in a team
- Eagerness to do jobs in shifts
- Aptitude to ensure quality time
- Goal-oriented; should have mental set up of carrying out works till the end
- Good communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office; MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint & Upgrade Version of Windows
- Skills on cataloguing and classification of books, reports, and documents using the library of congress subject descriptors and the Dewey decimal classification system
- Life-long learning aptitudes.

Educational Requirements
- Candidates must possess a Master’s degree with Honors in Library and Information Science from a reputed university.
Experience Requirements
- At least 4 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Documantation, ICT, Library Management
Additional Requirements
- Error-free English and Bengali typing at a moderate speed
- Writing error-free reports, notes and moderate speed
- Capabilities of conducting promotional activities, seminars, workshops
- Competences of using social networks to promote the library and to bond with the stakeholders
- Skills of installation, customization, data migration, mail server configuration of library software
- Knowledge of website design and content development
- Programming knowledge
- Knowledge of Research Areas, Research Metrics, Research Register, Jargons and Terms
