Community Development Centre (CODEC) invites application for the position of Technical Coordinator for implementing `Education and Protection for Refugee Children (EPRC) Project` funded by UNHCR, located at Bashan Char
Job Responsibilities
- Technical Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all sorts of technical support on Material development, Training curriculum development, Conduct training for technical officers and program organizer, quality assessment of class room activities, teachers’ quality assessment and development. He is also responsible to communicate with sector & national experts for enhancing innovative ideas, learnings and disseminate in the program implementation. S/H will prepare a quality assessment report on quarterly basis to reflect real quality status and make a joint plan with Area manager, Technical Officers and program organizer and implement accordingly.
- Program Management and Coordination:
- Technical Coordinator will play a lead role in developing teaching & Learning materials in coordination with education sector.
- Technical Coordinator will develop training curriculum & training materials for TOs and Teachers.
- Support teachers in implementing learning and reflection discussions to improve the teaching learning activities in classroom.
- Follow-up Program organizer and Technical staffs’ work plan and provide support accordingly.
- Identify gaps of teaching learning methodology and support
- Ensure proper use of materials through on spot monitoring
- Maintain implementation and reporting standards and overseeing the work at different level.
- Provide necessary support to monitoring team to prepare quality program report for internal and external stakeholders.
- Representation, Communication, coordination & Reporting:
- Responsible for all program related information recording, store, update and cross check
- Do follow up and verify POs, TOs and other technical staff’s monthly activity plan, accomplishment plan.
- Conduct monthly field coordination meeting to review and assessment of the progress by the POs with participation from technical leads as needed;
- Maintain coordination with Field level staffs and Teachers ensuring supportive field program
- Attend all camp related coordination meeting and share meeting result/findings to next management
- Timely reports submit as guided by project coordinator.
- Keep local level networks with the different stakeholders and education related organizations and agencies
- Attend regular meeting with Government officers (CIC) and site management meeting
- Provide daily progress information to PC/PM;
- Prepare the monthly and need base report in time
- Attend monthly staff meeting;
- Participate different events organize by the donor and the organization
- Keep good team works with other key contact personnel.
- Perform any other assignment given by the project management and the organization.
- Keep strong communication and liaison with Camp In-Charge (CIC) and site management for program and administrative purpose.
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Additional Requirements
- Age 35 to 45 years
- Both males and females are allowed to apply
- Knowledge of implementation of education program and the situation in Bangladesh including constraints and issues in the primary education is required
- Strong ability in problem solving and decision-making;
- Planning skills;
- Excellent skills on dealing with beneficiaries, community and other stakeholders;
- Supportive supervision and motivation skill;
- Strong report writing skills both Bangla and English.
- Minimum 5 years experience in the related field
- Skilled in documentation, facilitation, presentation & reporting
