Job title: Training Coordinator, RISE (Test to Treat)

Jhpiego Bangladesh (Jhpiego), with funding from USAID`s RISE Test to Treat (T2T), is planning to support the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MOH&FW) in testing the introduction of rapid antigen test and provision of oral antiviral drugs for high risk patients with mild to moderate COVID-19 symptom cases. The Training coordinator will be accountable for developing and implementing the project training plan for the stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop different capacity building training plan for the health service providers and community health workers as per the project plan.
- Provide technical assistance to design training modules
- Ensure timely implementation of each of the training components
- Conduct capacity building training to the project stakeholders including NGO partners
- Facilitate all training and capacity development programs
- Ensure availability and timely delivery of all training materials
- Provide technical assistance to monitor capacity building activities
- Conduct field visit based on project requirement
- Communicate with the NGO partners to ensure the participants in the training program
- Arrange and participate in different workshop and training sessions.
- Ensure availability and timely delivery of all training materials
- Considering the program context, develop communication materials related to the training program
- Prepare monthly report and closing report
- Assist MNE to prepare project documentation
- Communicate with the NGO partners to ensure the participants in the training program
- Assist to the Technical Specialist for planning, supervision and monitoring of the training programs
- Coordinate and assist the trainers to ensure successful training program
- Provide technical direction to other program activities as per the requirement
- Assist the project support officers to make the training program successful
- Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Educational Requirements
- Masters degree in any discipline
- Medical Graduate or Masters in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Public Health or any relevant discipline preferred.
Experience Requirements
- At least 3 year(s)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years professional experience working in NGO / INGO health sector
- Good knowledge in MS office (word, ppt, excel etc)
- Good oral and written communication skills in both English and Bengali
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary and multicultural group of colleagues and external stakeholders
- Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal supervision
- Creative, flexible, and resourceful and able to cope with logistical challenges
- Ability to travel within Bangladesh at a short notice
